It was a near full camp yesterday evening at the Super Eagles camp in Abuja as the number of invited players who reported hit 27.

Camp sources told Sports Vanguard that two players from Rangers and three others from other clubs were the only ones expected to arrive last night.

Coach Steven Keshil training the Super Eagle in Abuja.

'We trained with about 24 but when we returned to camp the number swelled to 27. Only two players from Rangers and two others are still being expected,' he said.

A member of the technical crew who pleaded anonymity confided in our correspondent that Coach Stephen Keshi was happy with the progress made so far and hoped that in the next few months, a new Eagles squad will emerge.

'It is a continuous process and the players have shown good conditioning. Most of them met a different kind of training here but with time they will adapt to the our new methods.'

The camp will last till January 16 when the players will be released to join their clubs for the new season, which starts January 7
