OWERRI - Imo State Governor, Chief Rochas Okorocha, has urged traditional rulers, presidents-general of town unions, transition committee chairmen and community speakers in Orlu zone to work closely with security agencies to curb all forms of crime in the area.

Okorocha gave the charge while addressing a meeting of the various stakeholders at Rochas Foundation College hall, Ogboko.

The governor frowned at 'the increasing rate of kidnap cases in the state, especially in Orlu zone.' He said what worried him most was not the criminals themselves but their sponsors.
