Following the 2011 post-election violence that has sparked-off gorilla night attacks in some villages in southern part of Kaduna state, six armed Fulani's with military uniform have been arrested by the men of 'Operation Yaki'.

One of the people who intercepted the dangerous weapon and military uniform from the Fulani heds-men, told Huhuonline.com / that some were also arrested in Kafanchan but are currently undergoing interrogation at the Zonkwa Police station, Zangon Kataf Local Government of the state.

'I can confirm that we have arrested six men with fulani identity at Anchuna, who were heading to southern part of the state. They are currently undergoing interrogation at the Zonkwa police station. Our team in Kafanchan has also arrested some but I can't tell you the number for now,' the source said.

Another source told Huhuonline.com that, the Fulani's came from a training ground in Laduga, near Dusten Bako an Ikulu dominated community in Zangon Kataf Local government.

According to him, the people who trained there were numbered to be about 40 and have been dispatched to various locations.

'The authorities know about the camp but seem to be too impotent in arresting the situation. It is a shame that the governor came from Southern part of the state were his people are been attacked on daily basis. If the security agencies cannot do their job well, they should just go and leave us to face them,' he said.

The Southern part of the state, a Christian dominated area has been experiencing serious night attacks, shortly after the post-election violence.
