NEIGHBOURS TAKE OVER DEP GOV BROTHER'S BURIAL

UGHELLI- Neighbours to late Mr. Oliver Utuama have tasked themselves N2,000 each towards his burial.

Oliver, younger brother of Deputy Governor of Delta State, Prof. Amos Utuama, died in a motorcycle (Okada) accident, weekend.

Oliver's neighbours, at his Ufuoma Street residence in Otokutu community, Ughelli South Local Area, Delta State, Vanguard gathered, tasked themselves to assist Oli-ver's widow and children give him a befitting burial.

Vanguard gathered that Oliver, an Okada operator, died after a motorcycle rammed into him as he was dropping a passenger.

A source, who spoke on condition of anonymity, said Oliver died before he could get medical attention.

Meanwhile, three protocol staff, a female and two males, of Delta State Ministry of Justice, lost their lives in an auto crash on Agbor-Asaba Expressway on their way from an official engagement at Agbor Prison.

The car they were travelling in was said to have run into a stationary vehicle. They died immediately.

They had accompanied  Justice Zai Smith, the state Chief Judge, to Agbor prison on his yearly prison visit and were returning to their base when they met their untimely death.

Their names could not been ascertained at press time.
