“I am can confirm to you that at the moment, the other Governors like Saraki, Shinkafi, Shekarau, Sheriff and Ohakim are lobbying their friends in Government to escape arrest but from what I know, I don't see that happening because the President has no room for such at the moment.”

According to the source who would not want to be named, “as far as I know, President Jonathan has told his aides he is not interested in interceding for anyone of the former Governors and no one should use his name or office for such purpose.”
