HOW EAGLES CAN BEAT GUINEA- EMETEOLE

By NBF News

He feels that the team need to play against a friendly match against a top team ahead of the Guinean game.

Speaking in a telephone interview with Saturday Vanguard Sports, Emeteole said that he was not disappointed with the result that the Eagles had against Argentina, during a recent friendly match held in Bangladesh.

'We should not be disappointed or discouraged by the result but aim greater things ahead because the Eagles played well, showed some good flashes as a team but in the last bit of the game became jittery and lost confidence.

'The players should be commended because they remained committed,  never took their opponents for granted. It was a pity that suddenly they became jittery may be because of the presence of Messi on the other side and our opponents cashed in on this to cap victory.

'But I think the FA  must begin to take wise counsel , listen to advise from people, on how to manage the Super Eagles. I feel that the team need to play against a top world playing country  before the match against Guinea, which the coach should use to restore confidence in the team, having done a post match study of the game in Dakka.

'And I am looking at a game that can take place before our Nations Cup qualifier against Guinea  because if it does hold, it will add value not only to our rebuilding process but also to our readiness for the game with Guinea', added Emeteole.
