Controversial female gospel singer, Gloria Ehijiator Odianose, a.k.a. Gloria Doyle, has been rendered homeless by her landlord, at her 1, Kola Felix Street, Alagbole Road, Akute, Ogun state, residence.

She was thrown out of the self-contained two-bedroom flat, after a seven-day quit notice given to her by the landlord, simply identified as Oluwo, had elapsed.

http://nollywoodgists.com investigations revealed that Doyle was sent packing out of the house she was formerly living in with her younger lover, Wale Adeoba – a media consultant cum broadcaster – following a consensus made by the Association of Landlords, Alagbole/Kola Felix branch, that she must not stay longer than a week after it was discovered that she was an unlawful occupant of the house rented by her estranged boyfriend on 6 September, 2008.
Confirming that Gloria Doyle had been evicted from the house, Oluwo, landlord of the house, told http://nollywoodgists.com she was sent packing because it became clear that she wanted to take over the apartment, having forced out her live-in-lover who rented the place from him.

“It was after the case was discussed at a landlords' meeting that they gave me an ultimatum to send her packing. I did not collect any money from her. It was Wale who later introduced her to me as his wife, that paid me for the building and I have since given him the original receipt for the payment. The lady and I have no business and that is why I had to send her packing. With my age, I must be sincere with anything I am doing,” the landlord said.

Reports have it that the Folakemi hitmaker's woes began on Monday, 14 April, 2009, after she allegedly stabbed her live-in-lover, Adeoba, with a pair of scissors, on his right arm, during an argument over infidelity. She was also accused of biting the man on his belly and destroying his home-theatre among other electronic appliances as the argument degenerated into a fight.

While bleeding profusely due to the injuries he sustained from the fight which raged on for hours, http://nollywoodgists.com learnt that Adeoba reported the gospel singer to the policemen at the Ajuwon police station. Though the policemen arrested Doyle and detained her for several hours until evening when her lawyer secured her bail on Tuesday, 15 April, Adeoba has, however, been claiming that the police have compromised justice and fairness on the matter. He further alleged that he was thereafter threatened by the singer until he was later advised by neighbours to temporarily vacate the apartment he had rented eight months ago for Doyle.

According to Adeoba, who is now squatting with a friend in Lagos; “Gloria Doyle threw away some of my electronic appliances, stabbed me and bit me near my abdomen. As if that was not enough, she misinformed the police that we had settled it all amicably and that is why they (the police) have also delayed justice. She has also been calling to tell me that she would make me regret the day my mother gave birth to me.” When contacted, a police officer at the Ajuwon police station told P.M. NEWS that the matter had been settled amicably between the two lovers.

Refuting claims that she had been sent packing by her landlord, Doyle, while speaking to http://nollywoodgists.com, also denied allegations that she stabbed, and damaged the electrical appliances bought by her estranged lover. According to her; “anything could have happened during a fight. And if you care to know, Wale is a frustrated man and I don't ever wish to have anything to do with him.” When asked about her eviction by her landlord, she claimed nothing like that ever happened. But when our reporter sought an interview with her, at 1, Kola Felix Street, where she claimed to be residing at the moment, she quickly switched off her phone. Meanwhile, http://nollywoodgists.com gathered she now squats with a sister in Magodo, Lagos.
