Ladoja says Akala lacks the acumen to Govern Oyo State

Senator Rashidi Adewolu Ladoja has called on the people of Ogbomosho that the governorship contest in the forthcoming election is not an Ibadan-Ogbomosho issue but that of giving the people what make their lives better. He made this statement at Odo-Oba in Ogo-Oluwa local government of Oyo state where he addressed a large crowd of supporters who came to welcome him to Ogbomosho leg of his campaign. The Accord flag bearer in his words reminded the people of Ogbomosho that he was born in Gambari near Ogbomosho as such can as well claim to be Ogbomosho born.

Senator Ladoja made it clear to his supporters who came to hear what he has for the people of Ajaawa that lack of job opportunities for the youths can make them turn violent. He promised to harness the human resources with the natural resources in their land to create job opportunities again. He spoke about the moribund fruit canning industry he established in Oko in Surulere local government which was established to make use of the farm products and to create jobs for the youths. He berated the government of Governor Adebayo Alao-Akala for lacking the acumen to marshal Oyo state to a prosperous state.

On education, Senator Ladoja enjoined the people of Ogbomosho to be patient a little as the issue of joint ownership ofLadoke Akintola University of Technology will be resolved within seven days of taking over as the governor of Oyo state. He said that the joint ownership of the institution is a plus to the two states rather than what the present government is making people to belief. He then reassured the students that he will reduce the school fees they have been asked to pay by Governor Akala led government. He added that a good government like a good father must give his children good and qualitative education. He said that education is the surest way for a child from a poor family to get to the top.
