ALL AFRICA GAMES QUALIFIER: HARUNA, 11 OTHERS BOOST OLYMPIC TEAM

2010 FIFA World Cup's star, Haruna Lukman, and eleven other players selected across the world have been invited by chief coach of the Under-23 team to boost the preparations towards the All Africa Games qualifying series.

Haruna will be returning to the national team for the first time after Super Eagles' disastrous outing in South Africa.

According to the Nigeria Football Federation, (NFF) spokesperson, Ademola Olajire, the invited players are:

Goalkeeper Dele Ajiboye, former Golden Eaglets magnetic hands and Pontevedra FC number one. Parma FC of Italy midfielder, Obiora Nwankwo is another popular name in the coach Austin Eguavoen's list with Nurudeen Orelesi of Dinamo Tirana of Albania.

Others invited players include, Uchendo Okechuwu, Chukwuma Akabueze of SK Brann (Norway), Danny Uchechi of Leicester City(England), Ganiyu Oseni from Esperance of Tunisia. Also invited are: Nnamdi Oduamadi of AC Milan, Alex Albert of Hoffeheim from Bundesliga and Ibok Edet of Atletico Baleares of Spain.

Meanwhile, national Under-20 team, Flying Eagles are expected back today from their recent tour of Libya and Turkey.
