ACN IS AFRAID OF COLLAPSE OF ITS HOUSE OF FRAUD IN EKITI – ONI

By Lere Olayinka

Former Governor of Ekiti State, Engr. Segun Oni has described the comment by the Chairman of the Action Congress of Nigeria (ACN) in the State, Mr. Jide Awe on his (Oni) petition to the National Judicial Council (NJC) on the Appeal Court verdict that removed him from office as “a product of fear of the impending collapse of the house of fraud built for them by Justice Isa Ayo Salami and his cohorts in the appellate court.”

Oni, who reacted through his Chief Media Aide, Wale Ojo-Lanre said; “It is not only the leg of the corpse that they buried in the night that is exposed now, it is the entire body. The wind has blown open the rump of the fowl.

“Therefore, the ACN people in Ekiti and those who assisted them to procure the Appeal Court judgment must be afraid and we can't but sympathise with them.”

While maintaining his position that the Appeal Court judgment was irresponsible, the former governor said; “If they are so sure that the judgment that brought them to power was devoid of any manipulation, why are they not also joining us in the call for a second look at the judgment?

“This is like a case of a lecturer who is being accused by a female student of failing her in an examination because she refused the lecturer's sexual advances, and the female student is calling on the school authority to allow a panel to remark her examination papers. If the lecturer does not have anything to hide, he should be at the vanguard of getting the examination papers remarked so as to clear his name.

“But for obvious reasons, in this instant case, the ACN and Salami, their judicial election rigger that are supposed to be beating their chests, calling for a review of the judgment are the ones kicking against it. Reason, because they are afraid that if the review is carried out, the magomago judgment awarded them by Salami will fall like a park of cards.

“However, we won't be deterred in our quest to save the judiciary from the ACN goons and their collaborators in the bench.

“We are more than convinced that the Appeal Court judgment was bought by the ACN thieves led by Mr. Bola Tinubu and we won't rest until these judicial robbers are exposed for the whole world to see.”
