The National Judicial Institute and the Chartered Institute of Bankers of Nigeria will gather key players in the judicial and banking systems to deliberate on critical banking and legal issues that will further strengthen the ongoing banking sector reform.

This is coming under the auspices of the National Seminar on Banking and Allied Matters for Judges, which is usually put together by the CIBN and NJI on an annual basis, a statement from the CIBN on Tuesday said.

The seminar, with the theme: 'Banking Reforms and Economic Stability in Nigeria,' will hold in Abuja from December 7- 9.

The programme, according to CIBN, is designed to provide a forum for top banking industry operators and judges to crossfertilise ideas on contemporary banking and related judicial matters for the soundness of the banking industry and the development of the economy.

The two bodies have assembled seasoned experts from the judiciary and the financial sector of the economy to address the gathering.
