ONI, LAWAL MOURN EKITI DEPUTY SPEAKER

Former Governor of Ekiti Stateand his deputy, Engr,Segun Oni and Dr. Sikiru Tae Lawal respectively have commiserated with the State government, the State House of Assembly, the Oore of Mobaland His Royal Majesty Oba Adedapo Popoola, the Muslim community and the entire Adeoti family over the death of the Deputy Speaker of Ekiti State House of Assembly, Rt Hon. Saliu Adeoti.


The duo in a joint statement issued in Ado Ekiti, the State capital on Wednesday by Chief Media Aide to Engr Oni, Mr. Wale Ojo-Lanre, described the death of the legislator as shocking and unbelievable, saying that he would be missed by his colleagues.


“On behalf of our families, entire members and supporters of our great party, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), we express our heartfelt condolence over the death of Sailu Adeoti and wish the entire family the continued support and guidance of the Almighty Allah.


“Though the Deputy Speaker died in his prime, his family and the entire people of Mobaland should be consoled by that fact that death is the ultimate end of all mortals and it will come when it will come.


“It is also our prayer that tragic incident like this will not be witnessed in the family again

And Allah in His infinite mercies will grant the children the grace to live a fulfilled life embedded with longevity.
