Arsenal have reportedly agreed personal terms with Chelsea winger Noni Madueke, opening the door for a possible transfer between London rivals. The 23‑year‑old England international is in advanced discussions with Arsenal, driven by manager Mikel Arteta’s desire for versatile wing cover amid uncertainties surrounding Bukayo Saka and Gabriel Martinelli.

Despite this, no formal offer has yet been made to Chelsea's hierarchy, and negotiations remain in early stages. Chelsea, led by Enzo Maresca, value Madueke at around £45–50 million, a price tag Arsenal is reportedly hesitant to meet at this stage.

Under Maresca, Madueke has seen a resurgence, registering 20 goals and 9 assists across approximately 90 appearances since his January 2023 arrival from PSV Eindhoven for £28.5 million. While his pace and dribbling have impressed, there have been inconsistencies in decision‑making and end product, prompting Maresca to publicly challenge the winger to "work harder" and maintain focus.

From Arsenal’s perspective, Madueke would offer immediate depth on both flanks, especially if they cannot secure their primary target, Nico Williams now headed to Barcelona. However, breaking into a side anchored by Saka and Martinelli presents a competitive hurdle.

With both clubs still holding firm, the move hinges on Arsenal submitting a competitive offer and Chelsea being open to negotiation. For now, talks are ongoing, and uncertainty remains especially regarding valuation and Arsenal’s willingness to proceed.
