Atalanta Set €50m Price For Napoli-bound Ademola Lookman

Napoli are reportedly intensifying efforts to secure the services of Nigerian winger, Ademola Lookman, from Serie A rivals Atalanta this summer.
According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Napoli manager Antonio Conte remains keen on adding the Super Eagles forward to his attacking options ahead of the new season. Despite winning the Scudetto last campaign, the club is looking to bolster its squad with more creative firepower, and Lookman has emerged as a prime target.
Atalanta are open to selling the 26-year-old but have set a hefty price tag of €50 million. This valuation reflects Lookman’s growing influence in Gian Piero Gasperini’s side since he joined in 2022 from Bundesliga club RB Leipzig.
During his three-year stint at Atalanta, Lookman has consistently delivered impressive performances, gaining attention from other European giants. Premier League sides Liverpool and Arsenal have also shown interest in the pacey forward.
“Conte sees Lookman as the perfect addition to his tactical setup. His pace, directness, and versatility across the front line are key attributes Conte admires,” an Italian source was quoted as saying.
Lookman’s form in Serie A and with the Nigerian national team has made him one of the most sought-after African forwards in Europe. His potential departure could mark one of the summer’s big-money moves if Napoli meets Atalanta’s valuation.
With the transfer window heating up, Napoli fans will be watching closely to see if Conte can land his man, while Atalanta may begin scouting replacements should negotiations advance.
