Sequel to the eviction of the Jonas family in the ongoing Maltina Dance All reality TV show, five families will today slug it out in the grand finale to be held at Eko Hotel and Suites, Victoria Island, Lagos.

This is a deviation from past norm where only three families qualify for the grand finale. The fate of the Eselemo, Abang, Uhie, Nelson and Adejo families now depends on Nigerians to decide through a voting process today. By their outstanding performances, the five families were able to impress the judges which led to their nominations for the grand finale. They have been able to survive eviction through the various dance competitions in the Academy ranging from Wazobia, jive, pantomime, hip-hop and contemporary African dance.

The competition initially started with ten families in the Academy. The Sharta family was the first family to leave after the Wazobia performance followed by the Ayeni family who could not impress the judges after the jive performance.

The Wyss and Okoroafor families were the next to be evicted just after the pantomime performance and finally the Jonas family was dropped just after the hip hop showdown.

Mr. Nelson I. Wealth, who was excited to be among the families that automatically qualified for the grand finale said: 'I feel happy, God is faithful. We rehearsed but when we got to the stage we made some mistakes as humans but upon all the mistakes, God still saw us through. I feel happy; it is not easy. We entered eviction twice; we thank God as the automatic family to enter the grand finale. I am proud of my children.'

Who will eventually go home with the grand prize of N2.5 million and a brand new SUV worth N7 million?
