Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has expressed his support for Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) to win the UEFA Champions League this season, following his side’s elimination at the hands of the French club.

PSG advanced to the final after defeating Arsenal 3-1 on aggregate, with a 1-0 win at the Emirates and a 2-1 victory at the Parc des Princes. The French champions will now face Inter Milan in the final, after the Italian side eliminated Barcelona in the other semi-final.

Arteta, who spent 18 months at PSG during his playing career, shared his hopes for the French club to secure their first-ever Champions League title. “I really hope they finally win it, I say that from the bottom of my heart,” Arteta told Canal Plus. “This isn’t the time to say, ‘Go Paris,’ but when they play in the final, I’ll push for them.”

With PSG set to play Inter Milan in the final, Arteta’s backing reflects the connection he still feels with his former club, despite the disappointment of Arsenal's exit from the competition. Fans are now eagerly anticipating a thrilling final between the two sides.
