2025 African Cup of Nations Draw Set: Morocco Prepares to Host Prestigious Tournament

Football officials and African football legends met today in Morocco to finalize the 2025 African Cup draw.

Notably, Morocco will host the 2025 Afcon for the first time since 1988.

The tournament is scheduled to commence on the 21st of December 2025 and to be rounded off by 18 January 2026.

All 24 qualified African teams have been placed in different groups for the 2025 tournament to be played in Morocco.

There are five groups comprising A-F, and all the teams know the teams they are sharing group with.

Group A: Morocco, Mali, Zambia, Comoros
Group B: Egypt, South Africa, Angola, Zimbabwe
Group C: Nigeria, Tunisia, Uganda, Tanzania
Group D: Senegal, DR Congo, Benin Republic, Botswana

Group E: Algeria, Burkina Faso, Equatorial Guinea, Sudan

Group F: Cote d’Ivoire, Cameroon, Gabon, Mozambique
