Super Eagles Qualifies For The Afcon 2025 Tournament

The leading team of the Group "D" of African Cup of Nations Qualifier, Nigeria Super Eagles have now qualified for the Afcon 2025 Cup of Nations tournament.

The next Africa Cup of Nations will take place between December 21 2025 and January 18 2026, with Morocco set to host the tournament across six cities. Super Eagles have now join the teams who have qualified for the tournament despite having one team, Rwanda in the group"D" to play against.

Super Eagles clashed with Benin today and they played 1-1 draw at Stade Félix Houphouët-Boigny. Benin were a goal ahead of Super Eagles until 81 minutes when V. Osimhen, Nigeria striker scored a brace to equalize 1-1.

Super Eagles top the group with 11 points while Benin with second place have 7 points.
