Mike Tyson Recounts What Happened When A Prisoner Tried Him In The Jail

The acclaimed "Baddest man on the planet", Mike Tyson has filled the public with his fascinating tussles with co-inmates in prison while he was serving jail term.

Before temporary break from professional boxing that lasted 19 years, Mike Tyson had set a profound record in the world of boxing by throwing even the strongest boxers in his early 20s.

After becoming the youngest-ever heavyweight boxing champion at the age of just 20 from 14 massive wins, Tyson’s life changed drastically with his quick rise to fame and stardom.

Sadly, his rise to fame was almost quickly quenched with a jail term on a charge on sexual assault. He was convicted of rape in his late 20s which saw him left boxing for a while in 1980s.

However, under half of that time in prison, the former heavyweight champion was released on parole for good behavior. According to Tyson, before his discharge from prison, he corrected some anomalies and nipped in the bud frivolous incidence with fellow inmates.

“People will try you. They’ll try the strongest. You have to be a man. They’ll try anybody,” Tyson began to explain his time behind bars in an interview with Playboy in 1998.

“They start by saying something funny, something sarcastic, to see how far they can go. But you nip it in the bud. You don’t let anyone get away with saying anything funny or sarcastic.

“You have to demonstrate who you are right on the spot. That’s what I do. That’s who I am. I’m a settler. I’m in my glory in a place like that. Chaos all over. Yeah, they tried me a few times,” Tyson continued.

Mike Tyson is resuming the ring this Friday at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas in a clash with 34-year old younger boxer Jake Paul.

The 58-year old boxer who took his last professional fight in 2005 will be taking on an eight-round context in Texas with a notable American YouTuber who is now an emerging boxer.
