Deontay Wilder Unveils Suffering Broken Arm Injury Before His Last Two Matches
The American boxer, Deontay Wilder has spoken up about the injury he suffered long before his last lost clashes with Joseph Parker and Chinese heavyweight bogeyman Zhilei Zhang in 2024.
How rapidly Deontay Wilder lost his rank in the boxing space is everly surprising. Before his collapse. He has at one time been one of the most feared boxers in the world reputed for the most fiercest finishing and knockouts. Unfortunately, his sudden decline has been marked by the recurring humiliating defeats in recent times.
The Bronze Bomber’ who became the WBC world champion in 2015 after a win over Bermane Stiverne began to witness the darkest points of his career after his trilogy with Tyson Fury.
After experiencing first and second career defeat in the cold hands of Fury, Wilder unexpectedly flopped when he jumped over Parker and Zhilei Zhang who used him to adorn their portfolio. Zhilei Zhang subjected him to a fifth-round knockout.
While critics lose interest and confidence in seeing Wilder rise to heavyweight champion title given his recent defeats, Deontay Wilder has defensively revealed in an interview with TMZ Sports that he fought both Parker and Zhang with a broken arm.
“I broke my arm way back in November sometime. I didn’t know. I had two tears on my shoulder. I could feel the pain, but I just thought it was old injuries. But I got an MRI [recently] and everything was f***ed up there, I didn’t know because I’ve got a high tolerance of pain.”
