Women's Super League: Arsenal Wins Brighton 5-0

Arsenal women had played spectacularly to win Brighton in the Women's Super League at the Emirates stadium tonight.

The end of 90+16 minutes Women Super League match have got Arsenal thrash Brighton 5-0 to get a point which has enabled them to proceed in the league.

The first and second half witnessed more than one goal as conceded in close intervals by Brighton. B. Mead,

C. Foord, and F. Maanum all contributed a goal each in the first half to give Arsey 3-0 lead. Additionally, L. Hurtig came up with a fourth goal in 76 minutes and the penalty goal that sealed the match for Arsenal was scored by A. Russo in 90+5' minutes.

Despite the victory to night, Arsenal still sit immediately below Brighton with just a point difference. Brighton grappling with 13 points hang in the third place, whereas Arsenal falls on the fourth place with 12 points.
