Golden Girl Becomes An Undisputed Champion In Women Boxing History
The world witnessed another outstanding performance from Gabriel Fundora otherwise known as "Golden Girl" in a fight that elevated her to the title of an undisputed Champion in the history of Women boxing.
At the Theater at Virgin Hotels in Las Vega, on Saturday, November 2, 2024, 21 year-old Gabriela Fundora, vehemently destroyed his opponent to claim her fourth main title. The Golden Girl threw Gabriela Celeste Alaniz in the seventh round.
Fundora exhibited incredible paces, unpredictable movement and she technically threw punches that got Gabriela Celeste on the ground two times in the fight before the referee's intervention. Alianz's footwork did nothing more effective to counteract series of punches launched against her.
In the seventh round, Allianz struggled to balance her stance and she became helpless as a result of the incessant punches lashed on her. Referee Robert promptly intervened after Alianz corner threw a towel into the ring which was a signal intended to prevent further injury.
Fundora ended the fight triumph and she expressed elation to the outcome of the bout which she described as “incredible.”
The Hispanic-American boxer expressed gratitude for her team’s support. She also dedicated the victory to her promoter, Oscar De La Hoya, noting that he “is creating a new era for Golden Boy now. He’s welcoming Golden Girl.”
