Eddie Hearn has provided an affirmative statement on whom Anthony Joshua would take on for his next match happening 2025. Hearn revealed this after he expressed skepticism about AJ's potential rematch with Daniel Dubois.

The two-time heavyweight champion and Nigerian-born British boxer was Knocked out last month at Wembley stadium when he took on Dubois in an attempt to claim three-time world heavyweight champion title. Joshua was Knocked down several times in the match until a devastating stopper from Dubois in the fifth round.

Dubois who was initially interim titlist quickly rose to become a heavyweight champion after his brutal conquest of Anthony Joshua. Aj remains persistent in his quest to enter the list of world elite boxers. This is why he ignores critics who advise him to quite boxing to avoid more damage to his profile.

In the face of his last defeat, AJ expressed interest in a re-match. In the history of his defeat, Joshua has always come back for a rematch. He had rematch with Ruiz, and also Usyk. Now he his demanding a rematch with Dubois.

"I always say to myself I'm a fighter for life. you keep rolling the dice." He said this after his first career defeat to Andy Ruiz.

Warren has proposed that the rematch should happen next year February while stating that Dubois is ready for a defense. Eddie Hearn retorted with doubt about Joshua's possibility of coming on by February. April, he proposed is ideal for the rematch.

"It's weird saying it after a knockout defeat but AJ is actually in a really good position,' Hearn told BBC Sport.

'We're going to fight Dubois or Fury next. That's it. No other interest or warm-up.'

He added: 'AJ desperately wants revenge but the only issue is timing.'

'For the rematch to happen in February, training camp will have to start in a couple of weeks. There are always niggles and he had a few so physically it's just a case of whether AJ is ready to do that.' Eddie stated.

Speaking further, Eddie expressed his interest to have the biggest boxing in history involving Anthony Joshua and Fury. To Hearn, weather Joshua wins or loses to Dubois will not affect AJ fighting Fury next summer.

'It would be frustrating if we made the Dubois rematch and Fury won,' Hearn said.

'Then we're sitting there going "hang on a minute, we're fighting Dubois but we could have fought Fury in May for the biggest fight in boxing."

'Win or lose, we can fight Fury next summer. But if he wins, AJ fights him for the world title.'

Fury will be fighting Usyk this December to reclaim his belt. Months back, Fury lost his winning streaks to Usyk and he is ready to rematch to win back his title.
