Women Super League: Chelsea Wins Arsenal 2-1

Chelsea played Arsenal in their home at the Emirates stadium and earned three points after beating their host 2-1 in the Women's Super League.

Chelsea women squard grabbed the bull by the horn and won their host today to claim a bigger place in the Super League table.

Chelsea had submitted Arsenal to a defeat right from the first half of the match by securing a 2-0 lead which they carried over till the end of the match. Arsenal appeared too slack in the first half to have conceded too early. M. Ramírez bagged the first goal in just 4 minutes into the first half and S. Baltimore did the finishing in 16 minutes.

Arsenal showed a serious fight only in the second half which yielded a goal from C. Foord in 43 minutes.

Chelsea victory has placed them in the first place of the table with 9 points. They have won all their three matches played. They are four points ahead of Arsenal on the table.
