Kenyan giants Gor Mahia have secured a place in the CAF Champions League final qualifying round after a dominant 5-1 victory over South Sudan champions Al Merreikh Bentiu.

The win, which came after a narrow 1-0 defeat in the first leg, sets up a mouthwatering clash with defending champions Al Ahly of Egypt.

Gor Mahia's victory was highlighted by goals from Chris Ochieng, Alpha Onyango, Alphonce Omija, and Rooney Onyango. The Kenyan club's impressive performance showcased their determination and quality.

The clash against Al Ahly promises to be a thrilling encounter, with both teams aiming to reach the group stage of the competition.

Meanwhile, Samartex of Ghana completed a double over Victoria United of Cameroon to advance to the next round, where they will face Raja Casablanca of Morocco.

Al Hilal of Sudan, the most frequent participants in the Champions League, secured their place in the group stage after a 1-1 draw against Al Ahly Benghazi.
