Information available to ukpakareports.com indicates that the two time governor of Abia State, Orji Uzor Kalu is due to arrive in Abuja, Nigeria on Monday August 30th 2010 on board a British Airways flight from London. This is as the Maryland police frowned over the numerous telephone calls placed to this public relations person over the death of Chinwe Masi at the residence of Orji Uzor Kalu at Potomac, Maryland.

As gathered from the Maryland police, the Montgomery police appear not pleased by the many telephone calls it received from concerned Nigerians due to what it believes was the result of faulty reportage by some of the Nigerian media. The spokesperson for the Montgomery police department told our correspondent that many of the callers were misinformed and were asking for the former two time governor to be booked and arrested. The spokesperson continued to add that the police had conducted its preliminary onsite investigation that showed that Chinwe Masi's death was not a murder or the result of foul-play. Blood samples of the deceased and Orji Uzor Kalu was taken and analyzed along with fingerprints of all the people present at the house at the time of death. Samples of the Guinness Stout beverage that Chinwe Masi was prepping to drink, and the red wine that Orji Uzor Kalu and his other guests were drinking was also taken and analyzed.

The spokesperson indicated also that the statements taken at the scene from Orji Uzor Kalu and the four other persons that were present in combination with the conditions of the death pointed away from foul play and that Orji Uzor Kalu and the other people present at the time of death are free to travel freely. In reaction to some of the online publication that indicated that Orji Uzor Kalu was his way to an escape, the police stated that there is no need for him to escape. “He is not even a person of interest”, she noted.

And on a sidebar, an African American source within the Montgomery police told ukpakareports.com that judging by the telephone records of both Orji Uzor Kalu's and the deceased, the two have only met twice – with the first being at the deceased workplace and the second being at Orji Uzor Kalu's home in Potomac, Maryland on Thursday. The source noted that when the deceased visited Abuja in July 2010, that she did not visit or hookup with Orji Uzor Kalu who was also present in Abuja throughout the duration of her visit. The source [a principal officer in the force] continued to state his displeasure with the manner the Nigerian Press had depicted the incident and investigation with skeptism. His words, “we have received over twenty telephone calls from Nigeria. This is not Nigerian police, we are serious with our business”, he blotted out as he hung up the telephone.

The disparaging police comments came on the day after the US congressional Black Caucus paid a solidarity visit to the home of Orji Uzor Kalu in Potomac, Maryland. Ukpakareports.com could not ascertain the members of the Black Caucus who visited the two time governor of Abia State but our source confirmed that a delegation from the Capital City of United State of America, Washington DC drove to his home in five black Durango Sport Utility Vehicles on Saturday following Orji Uzor Kalu's return from Charlotte, North Carolina – where he went to visit his brother, Mascot. The visit was estimate to last a little over 40minutes.

Following courtesy visit by the United States Congressional Black Caucus, Orji Uzor Kalu in the company of the former gubernatorial candidate of Hope Democratic Party [HDP] in the person of Nicholas Ukachukwu took off in a convoy headed to the Dullies International Airport Washington DC. As a source at the Dullies International Airport witnessed, the arrival of Orji Uzor Kalu was accompanied by what is believed to be plain cloth US security officers in tinted Sports Utility Vehicles. They were three Caucasian men dressed in black suits and tinted shades who exited out of one of the vehicles. Two of the men escorted Orji Uzor Kalu and Nicholas Ukachukwu through the check-in counter and into the boarding area. Orji Uzor Kalu and Ukachukwu were both seated in the first class of British Airways flight number BA292 – Kalu sat on seat 4a and Ukachukwu sat on seat 3k. The flight took off for London at 11:45pm on Saturday August 28, 2010 and arrived 10:50am [London time].

However the activities at the home of Orji Uzor Kalu in Potomac raise questions to the sincerity of the Montgomery police force. As a source staked out near the home witnessed, there were two unmarked vehicles parked in front of the entrance to the home. The car windows were heavily tinted to make out the faces of the occupants. The unmarked vehicles which appeared to be keeping vigilance of the immediate vicinity did not leave the front of the compound till the two time governor departed the country. To this, some of the Abia indigenes resident in the Washington DC metropolis charged that it feeds to their suspicions of Orji Uzor Kalu being an agent of the United States of America. Ukpakareports.com has no evidence indicating Orji Uzor Kalu maybe an agent of the USA.

As per Orji Uzor Kalu's return to Nigeria, his close associates told our correspondent that he will arrive in Abuja on Monday afternoon.

In a related development, Orji Uzor Kalu, as sources indicate has moved his declaration for presidency to fall between the last week of September and the first week of October 2010.
