EPL: Perisic To Miss Rest Of Season
Tottenham Hotspur midfielder, Ivan Perisic will miss the remainder of the 2023/2024 season after tearing his Anterior Cruciate Ligament (ACL) in training.
Spurs confirmed that Perisic sustained the injury during “non-contact training” and will undergo surgery before missing several months of action.
This season will see the end of Perisic’s current contract at the club, therefore he may have played his last game for Spurs.
The statement read: “We can confirm that Ivan Perisic has suffered a complex Anterior Cruciate Ligament (ACL) injury in his right knee. The experienced Croatia international sustained the injury in non-contact training and will undergo surgery. Ivan will then commence his rehabilitation with our medical staff and is expected to be sidelined for the remainder of the season.”
