THE SUN APPOINTS EDITOR-AT-LARGE

The Sun Newspapers, Voice of the Nation, has appointed seasoned journalist, Zainab Suleiman - Okino, as Editor-at-Large.

Hajiya Suleiman-Okino has over two decades experience as a journalist, and was editor of Weekly Trust, the weekend paper in the Media Trust stable. She was till last week Managing Editor and a columnist with Leadership Newspaper.

A product of Bayero University, Kano, and Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria, Suleiman-Okino holds a bachelors degree as well as Master of International Affairs and Diplomacy (MIAD). She is expected to deploy her rich academic and professional background to further entrench The Sun in its position as the nation's largest and widest selling newspaper.

The new Editor-at-Large will also write a column every Wednesday to be called Rendezvous.
