Last Saturday in Owerri, Weird MC was at it again. She practically caused a big stir in the serene city as the Star Trek train moved to the Eastern Heartland.

The garden of the famous Concorde Hotel was filled to capacity with guys and babes.

The city was the seventh host to this year's Star Trek, the national music tour sponsored by Star lager beer and the town folks and the music stars alike would never forget in a hurry the high quality entertainment witnessed on that day.

Aside from the weird one, other artistes that set the gardens on fire included the Ghetto Soldier, Daddy Showkey, KC Presh, and the winners of Star Quest music talent hunt, The Jewels.

For Weird MC, it was her very first performance in the city and she didn't disappoint the crowd who had kept vigil ever since they heard she was coming to town. From Allen Avenue to Ijoya, the crowd knew the lyrics and they responded with excitement. By the time the rap queen concluded her performance, it was obvious she was very popular in the East. She could not help but thank the appreciative crowd.

Showkey is still the 'baba'. He re-enacted his old antics of sustaining the crowd with his popular songs. From I thank God, his popular praise song to Diana, it was the Ghetto Soldier's simplicity all the way and he never made any pretence about his ghetto roots.

The revelation of the night was perhaps, Abagana, the comedian and compere for the night who amused the crowd with his bag of jokes.

Four lucky winners of the lucky draw went home with an electric generating set, 20 inch colour television sets, giant deep freezer and N100, 000 cash.
