2023 FIFA WWC: Panama Claim Final Spot

Panama have taken the final spot for the 2023 FIFA Women's World Cup with a 1-0 win over Paraguay on Thursday in New Zealand.

Panama will make their debut Women's World Cup and face France, Jamaica and Brazil in Group F.

They face Brazil in their opening game on July 24 in Adelaide.

Substitute forward Lineth Isabel Cedeno Valderrama, scored the second-half winner against Paraguay in Hamilton.

Panama join Haiti and Portugal in sealing the remaining spots at the July-August finals.

All three will be making their debuts at the Women's World Cup.
