Mount, Chelsea Contract Negotiation Breaks Down

Contract extension talks between Chelsea and player, Mason Mount have hit the wall.

Mount has 18 months left on his current Chelsea contract and the club are desperate to extend it.

However, Mount’s Chelsea future is in doubt after contract talks stalled as the player is hoping to treble his current wages of £80,000-a-week.

It is believed that the north London are offering significantly less, especially compared to what new signings have been handed. Despite that, Mount’s deal remains the club board.

Chelsea are looking to offer Mount’s fellow academy graduate Conor Gallagher a new deal.
