PROJECT FAME: LINDSAY, GOLD EVICTED

Lindsay and Gold became the first evictees of the ongoing reality show, MTN Project Fame. In a recorded programme, which would be shown today, Lindsay and Gold were part of the five contestants with lowest votes. The judges saved one contestant while faculty and housemates saved one apiece as well.

Lindsay almost escaped eviction when she and Seun, another contestant, had a tie but the housemates preferred Seun to her, hence she was evicted. The contestants live in the Academy for 24 hours and would be tutored by professional instructors whose job is to refine contestants into finished and polished singers that produce songs that could be mass marketed.

Contestants are voted for after performance by the public. Five contestants with the lowest votes are put up for eviction. However the judges, housemates and faculty can save a contestant each, leaving only two contestants to be evicted.

Winner of the reality show will go home with N2.5 million, a brand new Toyota RAV 4 and a recording contract. The first runner up will win N1.5 million and a Toyota Corolla while the second runner up will win N1million and a Toyota Yaris. The third runner up will win N1 m only.
