ENYIMBA, HEARTLAND IN MUST WIN MATCHES

By NBF News

Enyimba International Football Club of Aba and Heartland of Owerri are condemned to win their matches this weekend if they hope to remain in contention for CAF Confederations Cup and CAF Champions League respectively.

While Enyimba hopes to upturn the 4-0 deficit it suffered a fortnight ago in Zambia in Aba, Heartland will attempt to get a result in Algiers against JS Kabylie.

Enyimba is set for the next wonder of the world should they cancel the deficit and go ahead to win the match. According to the Chairman of the club, Chief Felix Anyansi Agwu, his team is not new to this type of situation and cited the 6-1 loss they suffered against Ismaili in Egypt some years back and went ahead to win the CAF Champions League trophy.

He said the players were now more committed to the team than they were two weeks ago when they travelled to Zambia. 'We in Enyimba have erazed the word impossiblilty from our dictionary long time ago and this philosophy has seen us through and this match against Zanaco cannot be an exception. 'We are the architect of this situation we find ourselves, but I am happy that these boys have woken up from their slumber.

'I have always believed that we have the best legs in the continent of Africa, which saw us win the Premier League recently and qualify for the final of Federation Cup. 'What we need is discipline and commitment from the players.

'I want to ask our supporters to come out enmasse to support us on Sunday.

On his part, the technical adviser of Heartland believes his side has all it takes to shock JS Kabylie this weekend.

He said his wards were in high spiritand rearing to go. 'We are undaunted by the 1-1 draw we posted at home against Ahly. Don't forget that this is football where the lucky side smiles home at the end of 90 minutes no matter how badly they play. 'I believe we were just unlucky against them, but with this game against Kabylie. We shall come out smilling.'
