In recent ATP ranking released, Spanish duo Carlos Alcaraz and Rafael Nadal climbed to two top spots of the ranking.

Alcaraz holds down the world No 1 spot while compatriot Nadal moved back up to second, leapfrogging Casper Ruud.

Nadal benefited from Ruud's quarterfinal exit in Seoul where he was top seed, to move ahead of the Norwegian.

Novak Djokovic retains the seventh having scored 250 points in the race for the ATP Finals in Turin.

The 32-year-old was competing in his first singles tournament in Israel since claiming a seventh Wimbledon crown in July, and can still earn points this week in the Astana ATP tournament.
