World number one Alcaraz loses to Auger-Aliassime

World number one Carlos Alcaraz lost to Felix Auger-Aliassimein in front of his home fans at the Davis Cup played in Valencia, Spain.

Alcaraz lost the match 6-7 (3/7) 6-4 6-2 in a thrilling singles rubber. The Spaniard had watched from the sidelines as his country defeated Serbia 3-0 on Wednesday.

The game is Alcaraz first since winning the US Open Grand Slam last week, making him the youngest man to win the title at 19.
