Nigeria 3, Canada1: Falconet To Face Netherlands In Semi-final

After an impressive 3-1 win in Costa Rica in the undergoing u-20 World Cup women tournament against Canada, the Falconet will face Netherlands in the Quarter final.

This was quite a convincing win unlike the slim goals they scored France and South Korea in a 1-0 victory. This is also the first time the Falconet won all there group matches.

Interestingly the Canadians drew first blood by scoring in the 2nd minute due to an error from the Falconents.

However the Nigerian team were awarded penalty twice as Esther onyenedezie capitalized by scoring twice from the penalty spot. And Olisa made the comeback complete by scoring at the 91st minutes
