WAFCON: Super Falcon Soars To Semi-Final

Nigeria's National women Football team, the Super Falcon has qualified for the semi-finals of the Women nation’s cup after beating Cameroon in Morocco Thursday evening.

A first half header from Rashidat Ajibade did the magic for the Falcon in a game that was completely dominated by the African champions.

The goal scorer was later given the Woman of the Match Award.

Nigeria is the most dominating African team in the competition.

The Super Falcons had during the first stage of the competition lost to South Africa.

Super Falcons victory over the Lioness means they will now face Morocco in the Semi final. Morocco is the host country.

With the victory, Nigeria has also qualified for the 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup holding in Australia and New Zealand.
