The Golden Eaglets beat the Junior Elephants of Burkinafaso while the Junior Etalons beat the Black Starlets to book a final spot.

Both teams have already qualified for the 2023 U-17 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) but wanted to return home with the title.

Abubakar Abdullahi put the Golden Eaglets in front as early as the 22nd minute.
