Manchester United are offering far bigger money to Raphael Varane than what he currently earns with Real Madrid, according to Tribal Football.

The Mirror says Varane will land a lucrative pay rise at United if he completes a transfer from Real Madrid.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer wants to make Varane his second marquee signing of the summer after a deal was reached with Borussia Dortmund to sign Jadon Sancho.

The France World Cup winner has been identified as an ideal central defensive partner for club captain Harry Maguire.

And talks are already underway between Real and United as Solskjaer aims to get his business done efficiently in this summer's transfer window.

Both clubs are confident a deal can be reached for the 28-year-old.
