Rohr Backs Super Eagles To Cope Without Ekong, Collins Against Cameroon

Super Eagles Coach, Gernot Rohr has revealed that the team can cope with the absence of William Troost- Ekong and Jamilu Collins ahead of the international friendly match against Cameroon on Tuesday.

Troost Ekong and Jamilu Collins sot injured in the first match on Friday.

Cameroon won the first match 1-0 and the Super Eagles will be aiming to get a win in the second match.

“Ekong and Collins are out. I think we’ll have to manage the difficult situation,” the German stated.

“It’s an opportunity to play with three defenders only, to try something different.

“That’s why we’re happy to have the second game.”

Rohr is expected to play a 3-4-3 formation according to reports as he aims to experiment against the Indomitable Lions.
