Paul Onuachu Tests Positive For Coronavirus

Super Eagles striker Paul Onuachu has tested positive for the coronavirus.

The Genk forward recently returned to the Belgian club after the relaxation of lockdown in major cities around the world.

As reported by Het Laaste Niuews, Genk players and staff were subjected to a Covid-19 test ahead of the preseason clash with Eendracht Termien and only Paul Onuachu sample returned negative.

The 26-year-old has gone into quarantine he will be hoping to recover from the virus ahead of the Belgian League start.

Onuachu scored 10 goals and provided to assists before the Belgian League was cancelled due to the outbreak of coronavirus.

He mad his Super Eagles debut against Egypt in a friendly match, he has now played six matches for Nigeria.

Onuachu was part of the Super Eagles team that finished third at the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations in Egypt.
