Man City Spank Newcastle, Liverpool Brush Aside Brighton

Manchester City bounced back from a 1-0 loss to Southampton with a 5-0 spanking of Newcastle at the Etihad Stadium.

Gabriel Jesus scored the first goal to end his nine-game drought in the Premier League before Riyad Mahrez converted De Bruyne's pass to give City a 2-0 lead in the first 20 minutes.

Federico Fernandez diverted into his own net to compound Newcastle woes in the second half.
