Ronaldo On Target As Juventus Beat Torino

Cristiano Ronaldo scored his first free-kick for Juventus against Torino to help the Old Lady to a 4-1 victory.

The former Real Madrid star also became the first player to score 25 goals for Juventus in Serie A season since Omar Sivori in 1960-61.

Paulo Dybala opened the scoring for the hosts, Cuadrado increased the lead few minutes later.

Andrea Belotti pulled one back for Torino before Ronaldo scored his first free-kick in Serie A from his 43rd attempt.

Ronaldo has now scored 46 free-kick goals at club level, he netted 32 for Real Madrid and 13 for Manchester United.

Gianluigi Buffon set a new record by making his 648th Serie A appearance to beat Paolo Maldini’s record of 647.

The Italian World Cup winner now holds the record of the most appearances in Europe's top five leagues with 665.

Juventus are now seven points clear of Lazio, who lost 3-0 at home to AC Milan.
