Sane Rejects Manchester City Contract Offer
Pep Guardiola has confirmed that Leroy Sane has rejected the club's new contract offer holding out for an exit away from the Etihad Stadium.
The German Winger has been injured all season, but he is now back in action for the Premier League restart.
Bayern Munich have been a long time admirer of the former Schalke 04 star, he was close to joining the Bavarians last summer before he sustained a knee injuy.
"Leroy has rejected to extend his contract," Guardiola told reporters on Friday.
"Everyone knows. If at the end of the season two clubs agree, he can leave. If not, he will leave at the end of his contract.
"The club offered two or three times and he rejected it."
Sane has won two premier league titles with Manchester City since joining the club from Schalke 04 in 2016.
He has scored 25 goals in 89 appearances for Manchester City in all competitions.
