Arsenal captain Pierre Emerick Aubameyang has hit out at the club's board for the delay in renewing his contract.

The Gabonese International joined Arsenal in January 2018 and his contract is set to run out in June 2021.

Aubameyang, who has scored 17 goals in 26 Premier League appearances this season has told the board members to 'do their job' to ensure he remains at the Emirates Stadium.

“I have not received a proposal recently, but we have had discussions with the club for quite a few months,” he told TF1’s Telefoot program.

“The board know very well why nothing has happened so far. They have the key. It’s up to them to do their job and then we'll see how it goes.

“It’s a turning point in my career and, to be frank with everyone, this will be a very difficult decision to make. But beware, I haven’t made my choice yet. It will be perhaps the most important decision of my career.”

The former AC Milan star has scored 49 goals in 75 Premier League appearances for Arsenal.
