Chelsea Star Pedro Set To Join Roma

Pedro Rodriguez will leave Chelsea at the end of the season to join Italian Serie A side, AS Roma as a free agent.

The Former Barcelona winger's contract will not be renewed at Stamford Bridge and he has been linked with a move to the likes Sevilla, Valencia and Real Betis, but it is understood that he has chosen to sign for Roma.

Pedro joined Chelsea from Barcelona in 2015 after playing a pivotal role in the Blaugrana's treble-winning side of 2009, he was also part of the team that swept aside Manchester United in the 2011 Uefa Champions League Final.

And according to Spanish publication AS, Pedro views Roma as the 'priority' - which backs up a story from Italian paper Il Tempo - as he seeks his next move following five years in west London.

Pedro has won one Premier League title, Europa League and the FA Cup trophy, he will be hoping to help The Blues secure Champions League football before leaving.
