Covid-19: Pinnick's Foundation Donate Food Items, Cash To Warri Communities

Amaju Pinnick's Brownhill Foundation has donated cash and food items to communities in Ogunu, Warri, Delta State, to help tackle the financial and material hardship of Covid19 and to also ensure residents obeys the stay-at-home order of the Federal Government.

The foundation founded by the NFF Supremo donated rice, noodles, spahghetti, garri and other food items to 500 families in the communites of Delta State. It also gave out cash donations between N10,000 and N15,000 to the people.

After the exercise the Chairman Board of Trustees of the Brownhill Foundation, Andrew Bekederemo said "Everyone has been home without working, so the foundation, through the support of Pinnick decided to support the communities this period, in its own little way."

He further added "Reaching out to the less-privilege at this time is our priority because COVID-19 has brought so much stress and tribulations to the country and its citizens."

While thanking the foundation for their largesse gesture, the Head of Ogunu community, Chief Newton Ayiwe, described the donations as "a service to humanity."

Communities which benefitted from the donation include Upper Erejiuwa, GRA suburbs, Ijaw Street, Ajamimogha, Makro, Obahor, and others.
