COVID-19: Rohr Sure Of Victory Over The Disease

Super Eagles manager, Gernot Rohr, says the world is currently playing a difficult match against the Coronavirus disease but hear he is confident that the disease would be defeated when the right tactics is deployed.

The 66-year old German manager made this known in a short video on social media that a win against the invisible opponent is important but however cautioned that everyone has a part to play by avoiding contacts.

His words now “We have a very difficult match to play and this match is against an invincible enemy.

“We have to be in solidarity and with the discipline to stay at home. We can win this match but everybody must play the game, must be without contact with other people and must stay at home and only go out when it is necessary.

“Please respect it and we will win the match together.”

Gernot Rohr is uncertain about the renewal of his contract is expected to get a new contract on Friday (today) according to the President of the Nigerian Football Federation, Amaju Melvin Pinnick
