Amaju Pinnick Promises World Class Coach For Super Falcons

The President of the Nigeria Football Federation, Amaju Pinnick on Monday promised a "World Class Coach" for the Super Falcons.

The football icon disclosed this in an interview on Channels Television on Monday. He however stated that the Coronavirus pandemic has affected the appointment of a substantive coach for the Super Falcons.

His words, “The good news is that we have a lot of coaches that have shown interest, if I mention their names you will be shocked, but I won’t.”

“We ought to have done this by now because like I said, it is out of our hands now. We contracted PwC as a consultant to advertise and get us a !world-class coach and they were in the process of doing that before the coronavirus started.

“We had given them deadline; we want them to appoint a coach before the end of April, so that the coach could start work immediately.

Speaking on how the pademic has put on hold the Local League and other Sporting event, Amaju said the football body would do what they could to assist.

“We are doing quite a lot. We are going to support some of these centres (Nigerians) with tubers of yams; we have to do this at this hard time.” He said
