A new movie that chronicles the life and times of Rev. Emeka King Ezeuko, the controversial pastor and General Overseer of Christian Praying Assembly currently on deathrow at the Kirikiri Maximum Prison has created problems for its producer, Ifeanyi Ikpoenyi.

"War in the Church" which is warming up for release by Deraco Productions, was shot at choice locations within the Lagos metropolis with Nigeria's notable artistes on parade. According to Ikpoenyi, the movie, which gulped so much to produce is giving the producer/director sleepless nights as his
life is being threatened on a daily basis.

Blockbuster learnt that the self styled Mr. Hollywood has disappeared into thin air as a result of the harassment he is getting from the members of the Rev. King's church, who feel the film has ridiculed their leader.

"War in the Church" parades Kenneth Okonkwo as its protagonist and Chioma Okoye among others. Written by Uzonna Ononye, the sneak preview of the movie reveales the events and activities at the church where members are known to grow beards.

"I am a director who is moved by things around me. I am only wondering why people are connecting this to the reality of Rev. King. It is purely coincidental. I have received several threat telephone calls and letters since we started the production. At a point, I was even confronted by some people asking me to stop production but I knew I have not offended any one but only expressing my creative licence," disclosed Ikpoenyi.
